In this blog post, I read A Fable for the Living a beautiful love story about a lady and her fiance who had died unexpectedly to her. The love that was between the two of them remains strong as she continue to write letter to him until at the end of the story she decided to join her fiance. My litter is about encourage me how I should not give up on my goals and dream, I should contiune to fight for what I believe in and never to give up. Dear Mamu I hope everything is going well with you, I know you are trying your best as you begin your college study last summer. It was a very hard decision for you but sometimes you need to make a decision that may not have a positive effect on you at that moment but it will be better for you in the future. I know that you have been having some tough time fitting your job schedule with that of your school. I just want you to remember that tough times don’t last but tough people do. I believe in your courage and resilience, I know someday you may not feel that you are doing your best but it takes man courage to do what you are doing. Please keep in mind that there will be some miss-step along the way, keeping the focus to accomplishing your goal must be your primary objective. You have been such a wonderful person in making a successful pass in all of your courses so far, you could not going to achieve this if you were not organized. I knew you have been having an internal fight with your self as to how to be successful in your academic journey. Believing yourself is the key to your success, you have to listen to your self and act in a positive manner. I know to be successful you need to follow rules, follow the step to accomplish your goal as you may fall many times along the way, but do not give up until you can meet your goal. This quote has kept me along the way which says “ you must accept what you can not change and change what you can not accept.” this is just the beginning in your academic life as your inner self will attract you to gaining more academic qualification. Alway believe in yourself and never give up. Truly yours Mayamu Waton

Maya, this blog was so sincere and real! I struggle with the same issues! It is not easy trying to balance life with school when you have adult responsibilities in the way (work, kids, rent, etc..). You got this you will thrive this semester!

I love this. I also struggle to balance school and work so I can relate to that. I couldn't agree more, it's difficult, but you can do this!
