The love that was between the two of them remains strong as she continue to write letter to him until at the end of the story she decided to join her fiance. My litter is about encourage me how I should not give up on my goals and dream, I should contiune to fight for what I believe in and never to give up. Dear Mamu I hope everything is going well with you, I know you are trying your best as you begin your college study last summer. It was a very hard decision for you but sometimes you need to make a decision that may not have a positive effect on you at that moment but it will be better for you in the future. I know that you have been having some tough time fitting your job schedule with that of your school. I just want you to remember that tough times don’t last but tough people do. I believe in your courage and resilience, I know someday you may not feel that you are doing your best but it takes man courage to do what you are doing. Please keep in mind that there will be some miss-step along the way, keeping the focus to accomplishing your goal must be your primary objective. You have been such a wonderful person in making a successful pass in all of your courses so far, you could not going to achieve this if you were not organized. I knew you have been having an internal fight with your self as to how to be successful in your academic journey. Believing yourself is the key to your success, you have to listen to your self and act in a positive manner. I know to be successful you need to follow rules, follow the step to accomplish your goal as you may fall many times along the way, but do not give up until you can meet your goal. This quote has kept me along the way which says “ you must accept what you can not change and change what you can not accept.” this is just the beginning in your academic life as your inner self will attract you to gaining more academic qualification. Alway believe in yourself and never give up. Truly yours Mayamu Waton

In this post, i will explane the multimodal 1- Why are we creating a website for our English Composition I course?
We are creating a website for our English composition class because it is very easy to deal with and it’s one of the easier ways to get access to our assignment, all we need to do is to go to google and search Weebly. One of the great things about this website is that we can edit our work whenever we want to. We can also use our smartphone, laptop or tablet to access our work. 2- How do Ball and Charlton define "multimodal" writing? Cheryl Ball and Colin Charlton first give us the meaning of multimodal means multiple + mode. They define multimodal as a mode of meaning-making or communication. They also tell us that in this mode, it is not just a word but the sounds, texture, movement and all other communicative factors that contribute to the making of meaning. 3- Do you agree with Ball and Charlton when they claim "all writing is multimodal"? Yes, I agree with them because, in writing, we use the five-mode of writing that was outlined by the NlG in 1996. Evey writing is multimodal because we write to make meaning and in that process, we occupy space, we visualize, and the movement of our bodies to be able to express our idea or opinion. 4- As a web site author who will create your own web page content in this course, how would you rank the importance of the five modes on a scale of 1-5? Please provide a brief rationale to support each mode ranking. Ans. These are the five modes on the scale in order from 1-5: A- linguistic is the system that consists of the development acquisition, maintenance and use of complex systems of communication. Particularly the human ability to do so. B- Visual, focuses on the aesthetics of the site and its related material by strategically implementing images, colors, fonts, and other elements. “Writing speak to situations and context.” yet, such a text is recognized not only from its linguistic mode and visual and spatial arrangement on the page. (title, name block, double spacing, margins, etc… C- Aural is speaking or writing, it’s not just worded in the linguistic sense of framework but sound, texture, movement, and all other communicative acts that contribute to the making of meaning. D- Gestural is the study of effective speech design including body and hand gestures, to current concern with infographics and visual rhetorics. E- Spatial, awareness is simply the understanding and use of space in an effective way on your canvas. While it’s true that most writing and design work in the 21st century is mediated through digital technology such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet, many texts that might be distributed with digital technology. 5- What does the C.R.A.P. acronym stand for? C. R. A. P. acronym stands for contrast repetition augment proximity. 6- As a web site author who will create your own web page content in this course, how would you rank the importance of the four C.R.A.P. principles of design on a scale of 1-5? Please provide a brief rationale to support each design principle ranking. In ranking the importance of the four C.R.A.P. principles of design on a scale of 1-4 we will first start with: A- Contrast is very important in this process because it makes things stand out so that users can know where to look first, second and last. This helps with scanning, especially with making special things stand out. B- Repetition, for instance, making the header and footer the same color, makes scanning a website easier. Bullet list is easy to scan and this can create a cohesive look to a website. C- Alignment to do with the columns within a page make it easier to scan horizontally. Alignment is a whole bunch of elements with one another makes them scan faster and it makes easier to read. D- Proximity has to do with how things are associated with one another or not. The more things are closer, the more they are associated and the farther they are, the less they are associated. 7- What are the seven sample criteria Borton and Huot suggest writers use to assess a multimodal composition? These are the seven sample criteria format Borton and Huot use to assess a multimodal composition: 1- The composition conveys a specific purpose. 2- 3- The composition employs a tone consistent with the designated purpose and audience. 4- The composition is organized around an appropriate controlling idea. This idea is clear to readers/viewers/listeners. 5- The composition uses transitions to guide the audience effectively from one set of ideas to another. 6- The composition synthesizes relevant information from research efforts with the composer’s own ideas and arguments—in a way that increases the rhetorical effectiveness of the whole. 7- The composition uses detailed description, examples, sound, music, color, and/or word choice to convey ideas in an effective and appropriate way to the audience.
